A managed forex account prevents your emotions from interfering with your trade decisions and allows you to go about your day without ever having to worry about analyzing the market or making a tough trade decision. However,  the biggest benefit of having a Managed Account in the AutoTrader platform is that it provides maximum diversification without over-leveraging your account. 

There are some good strategies from other signal providers in the AutoTrader platform that open many positions at a time. For example, CornerStone-Zeus has several strategies that open up to 12 positions per trade with 300-pip stop-losses. If trading on your own, this is at least a $3600 risk on each trade, which is an enormous amount to risk for most accounts. However, as part of a large fund, your account is not subject to the same type of risk exposure. Since the profit & loss from each 10k lot traded on behalf of the fund is divided fairly among all participating accounts in the fund, we are able to diversify your account between many different strategies while keeping your maximum risk within 1/2% (one-half percent) per trade or less under normal market conditions. What Type of Account to Open:

If you will be starting with an initial deposit of less than $200,000 USD, we strongly recommend that you open "Mini Account". Instructions for a Managed Account with FXCM:

If you are opening a brokerage account to participate in one of our "Advantage Fund" managed accounts, you must open a Mini account at FXCM with ProSignal listed as the Referring Agent. Please understand that managed accounts are not restricted to trading 10k contracts, since they are traded along with many other accounts which make up one large master account.
